Steeped in history and tradition, and surrounded by spectacular coast and stunning beaches, the Greek island of Corfu is a Mediterranean paradise. Whether looking for a relaxing beach holiday, an adventurous water sports vacation or a cultural experience, Corfu has it all.

With its green landscape and white sandy beaches, Corfu is a great place to unwind and relax. To the north, resorts and hotels sit along a host of both private and public beaches. Agni is one of the most secluded beaches and a great place to escape the crowds. Acharavi, meanwhile, is a long sandy stretch frequented by families and water sports enthusiasts alike. Kavos, on the southernmost tip of the island, is a hugely popular spot with its shallow water (great for children) and tourist services.

For a more cultural experience, head to Corfu’s old town with its narrow cobblestone streets and traditional Greek bistros and restaurants. Wonderful Venetian fortresses can be found in and around the town, with tours taking visitors through the winding passages of the fortifications. Exploring the island further, visitors will find a wealth of other fascinating historical structures and sights. After a day of exploration (or relaxation), Corfu’s vibrant Mediterranean nightlife beckons. Restaurants, bars and clubs cater for every taste imaginable.

Charter flights go directly to Corfu and are available throughout the summer months. International scheduled flights, meanwhile, first go to Athens where domestic flights continue on to Corfu. Alternatively, regular ferries head to the island from the Italian coast. Island hopping is easily arranged once in Corfu itself.
