By virtue of both area and population the city of Zurich, Switzerland is the largest city in the Helvetian Confederation. It is the financial hub of the country and is also home to numerous large international and local corporations, as well as international and local media entities, a train network which serves the entire country, and the busiest airport in the country. Within the last couple of decades, the city has become one of the most popular destinations for people on ski holidays.
